Senior Director of Network Operations; Cable & Wireless Communications Inc., Miami, FL
Develop and lead network operations for liberty Latin America. Lead the improvement of service reliability across all networks. Prepare and manage roadmap for improvement of service reliability companywide on all network infrastructures. Operationally manage interconnect points. Establish and drive KPI’s, processes and methodology for all Field Operations services on all networks and platforms e.g. Core, Fixed B2C Access, Sub-sea, and Mobile. Accountability for all areas of Network Operations, coordinating with Market VPTO’s responsible for local execution of centrally lead performance. Collaborate with Market VPTO’s to locally execute centrally lead performance for customer excellence in services and products. Drive local Market VPTO organization with quality oversight and KPI setting and tracking. Harmonize processes, tools, objectives and methodology for execution of Customer centric performance across all LLA OPCO’s. Leased networks and 3rd party facilities. Lead interconnect governance & planning. Internet peering and transit.
Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week, 8:30 am – 5:30 pm
Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science or a related field and 10 years of work experience in the telecommunications industry. In lieu of a Bachelor's degree, employer will accept an additional 2 years of related work experience in the telecommunications industry.
Must have 8 years of experience in the following:
·Resource management, financial management and budget management skills;
·People management in a technical environment;
·Business planning including Budgeting, Organizational Design, strategic planning, and objective setting; and,
·Project management techniques including planning, resource allocation, prioritization and escalation within an international telecom environment.
Must have 7 years of experience managing vendor relationships that reduce costs, improve service and support strategic goals.
Up to 30% travel required.
