Job Description

WHAT´S THE ROLE

Reporting to the Senior Director B2B & Commercial Solutions, overseeing a team of 11+ employees, the Senior Manager of B2B IT Delivery will have responsibility for the delivery (Functional/Technical Design, Development & Configuration, Test support & Implementation) of all B2B IT solutions (Provisioning, CRM, Rating, Billing, Ticketing, Monitoring, Field Force mgt etc) throughout the Liberty Latin America (LLA) footprint.

Provides Level 3-4 operational support for the existing B2B IT solutions in while effectively delivering solutions for new business requirements, tightly managing TTM, quality & cost.

Drives the B2B IT solutions transformation that helps delivering Liberty Latin America’s Long Range Plan.  

WHAT YOU´LL DO:

·Owns and drives the B2B IT Transformation from the existing legacy IT stacks in LLA to, ideally, a single new stack that will deliver the required efficiency, stability and functionality to support Liberty Latin America’s LRP growth plans and increased customer satisfaction. Drives Business Case, Stakeholder engagement & management and delivers on commitments.

·Works closely with the Senior Director B2B & Commercial solutions to assure that the LLA B2B IT solutions strategy fully aligns with the overall LLA IT transformation strategy.

·Owns & drives the delivery of the operational, tactical and strategic roadmap for B2B IT solutions within LLA.

·Assures timely, cost effective and quality delivery of the required changes on the existing B2B IT platforms in LLA through working with Solution Design, Product, Test and Release teams to translate the requirements of stakeholders into B2B IT solutions and delivers these solutions to support the operational, tactical execution of the business strategy.

·Proactively works to improve the stability and performance of the existing & new LLA B2B IT Solutions by working with Operations and other IT teams ensuring quality and reliability are hallmarks of the solutions provided.

·Owns unit, system & module testing for all LLA B2B IT solutions ensuring quality and timely solutions are delivered within budget.

·Owns B2B ITservice level management for LLA and ensures service levels are met.

·Owns L3 and L4 support for LLA B2B IT solutions

·Owns vendor management (incl. contract & license management) for all LLA B2B IT solution vendors.

·Maintains and improves relationships with key stakeholders and peers in the operating countries and key vendor partners.

·Provides clear leadership to team ensuring the right knowledge and skill sets are in place to tactically deliver and support strategic objectives.

·Fosters a customer-focused approach and ensures effective team working; encourages ownership and initiative as well as ensuring that lessons are learnt after failures.

·Develops an effective partnership with suppliers and customers, establishing confidence and respect.

·Advises and influences business clients and customers, as a trusted partner, regarding the delivery, costs, availability and functionality of services and systems.Represents IT B2B & Commercial Solutions at a senior level, both externally and internally.

·Leads the ongoing evolution of the services and support delivered to Liberty Latin America’s customers, ensures alignment with industry direction and best practice to maximize value to Liberty Latin America as a whole.

·Manages budget for function and supports the annual budget submission.

·Within a budgetary framework and with full accountability, takes management responsibility for a complete IT function where the measure of success depends on achieving business goals, performance targets and agreed service levels as well as on the successful technical implementation or use of information systems.

·Demonstrates and garners a customer-focused approach and ensures effective team working; encourages ownership and initiative as well as ensuring that lessons are learnt after failures.

·Initiates procedures to improve relation and open communication between stakeholders.

·Graduate level (Bachelors or higher) degree in an Information Technology or related field. Significant technical centric job experience (15 yrs plus) can count in place of technical degree.

·MBA is a plus.

KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:

·Minimum 5 years previous relevant leadership experience gained within a large commercial environment

·Deep understanding and experience of Salesforce implementations and architecture (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Communities, Einstein Analytics, Marketing Cloud, etc.)

·Strong architectural and software delivery skills, including Integrations, SOA, Microservices and familiarity with DevOps concepts and best practices

·Past experience of BSS/OSS systems implementation in a Telecommunications provider

·Significant experience in leading service teams in a dynamic and fast-paced environment

·Strong record of people management in a technical environment, including communication, negotiation and conflict resolution skills

·Strong written and verbal communication skills, ability to form strong business relationships across all functions

·Solid business planning experience, demonstrating a track record of success as a business leader and have the ability to collaborate with various departments to achieve mutual success

·Demonstrate the ability to influence senior stakeholders both financially and strategically

·Timeliness in all actions with quality consciousness towards services received and provided

·Extensive proven experience of project management techniques including planning, resource allocation, prioritization and escalation within an international telecom environment.

·Strong vendor management experience. Expertise in driving operational efficiencies through innovative partner and vendor management

·Demonstrate strong influencing and persuading skills, encourage colleagues and teams to change established processes and achieve improvements and best practice

·Significant negotiation skills, both commercially and complex delivery disciplines

·Demonstrates strong political awareness and influence

·Effectively gathers information, structures clear reasons for decisions and leads debate where required

·Demonstrates strong ability to work under pressure with multiple competing priorities.

·Strong ability to work logically through a fault timeline.

·Strong ability to create and maintain process adherence

·Demonstrates the ability to relate technical faults to financial and customer impact both for them but also to articulate in a meaningful way for the teams

·Deep understanding of ITIL framework and processes

·Extensive experience in Agile Software Delivery
