Job Description

What's the role:

 

The Data Scientist will lead and manage end-to-end data projects, including internal LLA members and vendor teams, in order to achieve business goals for the company. Design, implement and manage strategies to analyze large amounts of data from multiple sources, cutting-edge data management technologies and develop scalable Machine Learning/Artificial Intelligence models to calculate propensity, predict segments and prescribe actions that increase the value of the company through compliance of different business and technical KPIs.

 

What you'll do:

  • Prepare plans and roadmaps of data science projects (in coordination with Data Engineering and Business Analytics teams)
  • Managing teams of data scientists, machine learning engineers and big data specialists (internal, augmented or fully outsourced) to deliver on planned milestones.
  • Understand business problems and map them into ML/AI model designs.
  • Prepare data from its raw state until it is usable by the defined models (data preparation and feature engineering). This should be done in collaboration with Data Engineering or Business Intelligence team.
  • Implement mathematical models using advanced tools (programming languages, big data tools, machine/deep learning/artificial intelligence frameworks, different operating systems, etc).
  • Automate the execution of developed mathematical models in cloud-based or on-premises platforms. This should be done in collaboration with Data Engineering or Business Intelligence team.
  • Show advanced analysis results clearly and easily to stakeholders.

knowledge and Experience:

 

  • Graduate level (Bachelors or higher) degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics), such as Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science or Information Technology.
  • At least 5 year of experience in data and analytics, with focus on Machine Learning/Artificial Intelligence applications.
  • Deep knowledge in algorithmic and quantitative analysis.
  • Ability to understand cloud-based platforms and tools related to data and analytics.
  • Ability to continuously learn and innovate in data and analytics based on the rapidly changing environment.
  • Experience managing vendors in ML/AI developments projects.
